This page has lots of information about your project and access to your admin buttons on the left below your project image.
There are three new action buttons you can access here:
Assign Volunteers
Email Leaders
Email Volunteers
This opens up a pop-up form that allows you to assign a volunteer to the project
"Add Existing Contact" allows you to search your contact table and add an existing person. This will assign them to this project and send them an email saying they have been registered for this project.
"Add New Contact" allows you to quickly add a new person to the sytem. This will add them to your contact table, create them a user account, and send them a welcome email with their details and the project info.
Be sure to check when adding a contact that they don't already exist in your system to prevent duplicates!
Adding a volunteer as a project leader will give them access your admin portal and this specific project page. They can edit the project information, assign volunteers, and see who has signed up.
You can assign a leader when you add them as a volunteer or by adding them from the volunteer table. Use the dropdown next to each contact and select "Add as Leader."
This will send your leader an email saying they have been added as a leader and given access to the Admin Portal to view the project info, manage their volunteers, etc.
They only have access to their assigned projects.
To remove a leader, do the same thing you did to add them. You can click the dropdown and select remove as leader. This will remove their role as leader and remove access to the admin portal.
This will send a message to leaders or volunteers for this specific project only! A great tool for project leaders to utilize for communicating with their specific volunteers.
This works exactly like emailing in the Contacts page, just selects only volunteers or leaders affiliated with this specific project.
If the option is toggled on for the project, you can assign anonymous registrations. Anonymous registrations are connected with a volunteer with the project. You can select the volunteer you want to add anonymous registrations to, and then adjust the quantities of how many are coming (adults and minors).
Now that we have a project created, lets get some volunteers added to your project. Click the View Project button on your new project.
